Tigers off to 2-0 start
Hatley scored big for the second straight Friday and the Tigers are 2-0 in 2009 after a 45-6 win against visiting Houlka.
Cody Woods found Sawyer Weaver for a 66 yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and Codi Taylor scored on runs of 1 and 11 yards in Hatley's 31-0 first half.
Grant Hawkins' 9 yard run in the first quarter put the Tigers on top 12-0 and Justin Walden's 32 yard catch from Taylor put Hatley ahead big at the break.
Hatley added two scores in the third quarter on Taylor's fumble recovery in the end zone and Derrick Hampton's 17 yard run.
Houlka (0-2), in its first season of varsity football, got on the board when Okolona freshman transfer Terrence Ford scored on a 20 yard touchdown catch in the fourth.
