Itawamba beat Aberdeen 13-12 tonight in a preseason scrimmage. Aberdeen back Jamerson Love had a 70 yard kick return for a touchdown to topen the game, but the Indians scored 13 in the second quarter of the two-quarter event for the win. Malkhail Miller’s 1 yard run with 38.5 second left sealed it.

In all fairness to Aberdeen, a late pass interference call – a bad one – led to the game winning drive. Without the call it would have been fourth down and long. In fairness to the refs, they were junior high refs getting on-the-job training.

Headed home and I’ll put some video from Aberdeen coach Chris Duncan up later on, plus pictures.
