ABERDEEN - Holley Performance in Aberdeen will soon be adding 55 new jobs.
The company is closing its Tijuana, Mexico, facility and consolidating that product line into its Aberdeen site. Completion of the project is expected by July 2009. The Mexico plant manufactures Hooker Headers, which will be added to Aberdeen’s line of Flow Tech Headers.
Tom Flynn, who served as manager of the Tijuana site for the past three years, has been tagged to run the Aberdeen facility.
A reception is scheduled at Holley Performance’s Aberdeen facility at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, with Governor Haley Barbour on hand to commemorate the event.

Aberdeen Mayor Jim Ballard has announced Mississippi Investment Petroleum Company (MIPCO) has chosen the Aberdeen Port as its preferred site to build a Third Generation Biodiesel Refinery. The refinery is expected to create 32 new jobs over three phases, the first is schedules to be completed by mid-summer. The capital investment is approximately $12 million.
